History
AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING is located in the two world’s biggest car manufacturing areas — Turin (Italy) and Samara region (Russia), and many years collaborates with world known manufacturers of automotive sector.
AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING was founded in 1998 from the International Projects Department branch of Gallino Plasturgia (a company of Breed Technologies Group), which since the 70s was staying at the leading edge in Europe automotive market of plastic parts.
Over the last 40 years the company has been successfully designed and engineered dozens of important international "turnkey" projects of the equipment, molding, start up assistance, know how and licenses supplying for the automotive industry, primarily in Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine.
AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING-2 was established in 2009 in Moscow. AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING-2 is totally owned by AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING, a non Russian sole shareholder.
Company was established in order to collaborate with the related party (AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING - Italy) in supplying painted handles for Avtovaz PRIORA. AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING-2 entered into a long term contract with Avtovaz as a manufacturer of items. The design was provided by AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING Italy, which is also the tooling supplier.
In 2011, AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING-2 acquired the Oktyabrisk production plant. The manufacturing building has been refurbished to enable AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING-2 to reach high technological, organisational and production levels. In the new production plant it was possible to merge the technological expertise and the know-how of AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING Italy and AV-EL, which are AUTOCOMPONENT ENGINEERING-2 related parties (both owned by the same sole shareholder). In a short time company has become an important manufacturer and supplier of plastic products to AvtoVAZ (Togliatti), and also to transnational corporations - the leaders world automotive market.
